Dear SKCEE Families,
Happy Friday! This week students and staff participated in “We ❤ SKCEE Week”. I would like to thank our amazing Parent Teacher Association for organizing events and raising almost two thousand dollars to support our school community! Please enjoy the pictures below of students showing their school spirit.
We are expecting severe weather this weekend that may result in school closures Monday, March 15, 2021. Please be sure to check the Denver Public Schools website for up to date information about school closures or delayed start times.
Stephen Knight and Denver Public Schools are planning for the upcoming 2021 – 2022 academic school year. The feedback we receive informs upcoming district-level decisions for student learning, social-emotional supports, and overall district priorities. This survey also gives community members the chance to share your thoughts about the search for the next superintendent of Denver Public Schools. The community surveys are administered from March 10th – March 26th. You can find the survey and survey details here.
I would like to extend a friendly reminder that there will be no school Friday, March 26, 2021. Our teachers will be attending professional development for the entire day.

Dine Out: Bird Call, Tuesday, March 16
Back by popular demand––BirdCall is hosting an all-day take-out fundraiser! On Tuesday, March 16, BirdCall will be donating a portion of its proceeds from all locations back to SKCEE. Check out their menu and order lunch, dinner… or both! Be sure to mention SKCEE when ordering.

Virtual Magic Show on 3/23 & 3/24!
