Registration starts THURSDAY, OCTOBER 26th at 6am and ends THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 9th at 10pm. Below are the steps to follow beginning on OCTOBER 26th.

MONDAY PM (3:35PM – 4:35PM) 


HERO KIDS SPORTS – HERO FANTASTIC 11 SPORTS**

(Programs begin at 3:35pm – providers arrive no later than 3:15pm)
Instead of just one sport, you get to try them all! Join HERO Kids Sports once a week for your favorite games such as HERO Home Run Baseball, Touchdown Football, Slap Shot Hockey, Spike Volleyball, Track & Field, Soccer, Gymnastics, Mindfulness Yoga Flow, Lacrosse, Obstacle Courses and more! Each week, we will focus on the fundamentals of the specific sport through ready positions, dribbling, shooting, receiving, scoring, bumps, long jumps, and HERO teamwork missions. A central focus in our coaching technique is to encourage listening skills throughout our classes, how to work & play as a TEAM and values such as sharing, supporting, taking turns and encouraging one another! STICKY FINGERS – COOL’INARY COOKING CLUB (ECE & KINDER)**

(Programs begin at 3:35pm – providers arrive no later than 3:15pm)
Our professional chef instructors guide kid chefs by providing safe, entertaining, hands-on learning throughout the class, but it’s the kid chefs who do the prepping and cooking! Our class sessions are a BLAST for all ages! When kids get to touch the ingredients and have a hand in creating their food, they’re much more willing to try new foods. We provide all of the tools, ingredients and instruction needed to cook up a delicious, healthy and hearty after-school snack each week.

TEAMS OF TOMORROW – TOT BASKETBALL HANDLING CLASS**

(Programs begin at 3:35pm – providers arrive no later than 3:15pm)
TOT is a basketball handling program designed for Denver’s youngest athletes! This phenomenal training curriculum teaches basketball handling and dribbling skills to fun, age-appropriate music. However, fundamental basketball skills are only the tip-of-the-iceberg with TOT. Through TOT students are exposed to fine and gross motor skill activities, academic concepts, higher-order thinking skills, and team building activities. Self-discipline and high expectations are a major part of the TOT program. Parents are amazed at all the skills and educational concepts students learn through the TOT curriculum. With TOT, your child will have a blast while improving coordination, agility, discipline, and self-confidence! Join the TOT team today! HIP HOP KINDER DANCE!**

Especially for young children, Hip Hop classes improve coordination, strength, flexibility, endurance, balance, and focus. We’ll learn age-appropriate, basic dance movements with a creative twist! SLOW FOOD DENVER – LIL’ SPROUTS ECE COOKING**

Slow Food Denver’s Lil’ Sprouts program features a series of playful and interactive cooking lessons that teach children the entire seed-to-plate process in a fun, engaging environment. Trained instructors use multicultural recipes and seasonal, locally sourced produce to illuminate the connection between where food comes from and how it is prepared. While exploring these fascinating topics, students will get to experience fresh flavors and ingredients first hand as they gain confidence expressing their creativity in the kitchen! By chopping, measuring, tasting, and mixing, your child will become more empowered and inspired by their relationship to food. These educational and stimulating classes leave more than full bellies and smiling faces in their wake, they create self-assured young chefs with lifelong eating habits that are healthy and informed. Kidokinetics of South Denver empowers kids from ages 1 to 12 to play confidently by providing a fun introduction to sports through 8 different physical education programs offered at local centers, schools, and parks. KINDER CHESS WIZARDS @ STEPHEN KNIGHT!**

Chess Wizards is a premier chess education company providing fun, informative and challenging chess lessons to students. Chess Wizards teaches children many important life concepts, such as learning the ability to win graciously and accept defeat with dignity and sportsmanship. Students will be divided into groups according to their chess experience. At the end of this session, each student would have had the chance to participate in a mini-chess tournament.

Brickster LEGO® Club – KinderFun (KINDER ONLY)**

KinderFun LEGO Club is for young kids who love to explore and build. Kids naturally think like engineers and our class is designed to stretch their thinking skills. We start by introducing fun age-appropriate models using LEGO bricks and then move on to simple projects with motors and battery packs. All the while we inspire kids to engineer and create. Join us!

NEXPLORE ECE & KINDER PROGRAM Cubelets Robocoding**

(Programs begin at 3:35pm – providers arrive no later than 3:15pm)
Cubelets are recommended for builders ages 4 and up. Cubelets’ magnetic faces make them simple to snap together and pull apart. Each Cubelet has a special function and students will make robots from ‘story starters’. An example is a read-aloud book about lighthouses, then building a lighthouse with cubelets. Additional robot constructions will include animal themes, dancing robots and racing robots.

ELCS Enrichments

Enrichments are unlicensed single subject offerings mainly provided by outside companies that are DPS Community Partners. ELCS supports Enrichment programming at over 50 schools across the district, providing DPS students with various electives. Enrichment programming runs simultaneously with Discovery Link and is generally for the first hour after school. Students can attend Enrichment and Discovery Link on the same day as long as they register for both programs. The enrichment partners we work with cover subjects including but not limited to: Athletics, STEM, Art, Music, Physical Activity, Science, Cooking, Engineering, Math, Reading, Writing, and Coding.
