Hello SKCEE Families!
🌈Rainbow Week is coming!! SKCEE’s Rainbow Week will be March 14-18. Students will show their SKCEE school spirit by wearing the designated color for the day. (See the color schedule below)
The Collaborative School Committee (CSC ) met this week kicking off our first formal meeting. 😀 Welcome to our newly added community representative Bruce Gallagher, owner of Bonnie Brae Liquors. Priscilla Hopkins, Executive Director of Early Education joined us to give us information on the principal hiring. Please remember to submit your feedback using the form that was sent out last week for input on candidate qualification look-fors. CSC meetings are in a hybrid format of in-person with an option to also participate virtually. Our next meeting is on April 14, 4:00pm. The virtual link and agenda may be found on our SKCEE website.
Reminder: Clocks move forward on Sunday for Daylight Savings…”Spring Forward” 🦋
With Spring comes Spring weather and the need for tornado drills. Please know that schools have requirements to host drills for the safety of students and staff. Our March tornado drill is coming within the next two weeks.
ALL Families: Friday, March 25, 2022 will be a non-student contact day for SKCEE. Schools have the opportunity to schedule one Accelerated Learning Day. The day will focus on looking at student data and development plans for the remainder of the school year. Thank you for your understanding.
Thank you from our SKCEE staff to the Howard Family for the new microwave in the staff lounge. 💕 We are able to heat up our lunches again…yay!!

Camp hours: 7:00am – 5:30pm Fee: $45.00 per day per student
