SKCEE Welcomes New Principal

Dear Stephen Knight Center for Early Education Community,

We are excited to announce that Shelley Boberschmidt has been selected as the principal of SKCEE for the 2022-2023 school year and beyond. We are confident Ms. Boberschmidt will build upon the many strengths of SKCEE and that she will carry and expand SKCEEā€™s strong foundation of success for students.

Ms. Boberschmidt has served in Denver Public Schools since 2001. Her experience is vast and includes teaching, instructional coaching and administration. Ms. Boberschmidt has supported at Goldrick Elementary, Marie L. Greenwood, Cole Arts and Science Academy, and most recently as Principal of College View Elementary. She is incredibly eager to work with and serve students, staff, and the community to optimize student learning and experiences.

I would also like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who contributed input and feedback to the selection process. A huge thank you and my sincerest gratitude also goes out to the Collaborative School Committee (CSC) for their hard work and for being an integral part of this process. The CSC served the school community very well and their unwavering commitment to the ongoing success of SKCEE throughout the hiring process was apparent at every turn. We appreciate your engagement!
