SKCEE Fall Picnic, Wednesday, 9/28
Join the SKCEE community at our annual Fall Picnic on Wednesday, 9/28 from 4:30-6:30 p.m. on the Kinder blacktop/playground! There will be a DJ playing music to get the kiddos moving and grooving! Pizza and juice will be available for sale with proceeds going to the PTA, or families can pack a picnic dinner. Bring a blanket, camping chairs, and water bottles, and enjoy getting to know SKCEE families. In addition, we need a few volunteers to help with pizza and t-shirt sales for Tie-Dye Days––if you are interested in helping, please sign up here.
LAST CHANCE to Sponsor our Read-a-Thon Fundraiser
The SKCEE PTA is hosting our annual Read-a-Thon Fundraiser from 10/21-10/28, and we need your support! If you own or manage a that you would like to introduce to SKCEE, Read-a-Thon sponsorships are an opportunity to promote your business while championing literacy at our school. Sponsorship opportunities range from $200-$1,500, and your business will receive visibility to more than 250 families through both digital and print advertising. Tie-Dye Days: Monday, 10/3 & Tuesday, 10/4
The PTA is excited to partner with SKCEE staff to host Tie-Dye Days on Monday, October 3 and Tuesday, October 4! All students will tie-dye shirts to show their school spirit on Fridays. White t-shirts with the SKCEE logo that can be used for tie-dying will be available for purchase at the Fall Picnic on September 28.
Thank You for Stock the Lounge Donations!
We appreciate all of the classes who participated in Stock the Lounge this month! As a reminder, the PTA will be asking classrooms to donate snacks on the third Wednesday of each month to keep SKCEE teachers fueled for their busy days! As a reminder, the following classrooms will stock the lounge in October: Dock, Bailey, Gurule, Duvall, Kuskulis.
Lunchroom Volunteers NeededDo you want to experience the fun and excitement of lunchtime while also helping out at SKCEE?! We have the perfect opportunity for you! SKCEE is in need of volunteers for lunch duty! Each month the PTA will send out a Sign-Up Genius that will allow you to sign up for as many shifts as you’d like. There will be two shifts a day, and we need two volunteers per shift. Please take a look at the Sign-Up Genius for more details and to sign up. Before your first volunteer day, please submit a background check through DPS here.
