LEADER LETTER |
Dear SKCEE Families and Friends, Welcome to February! A huge shout-out to our amazing PTA for organizing so many wonderful activities for our students, families and our staff. The Snowball Dance is a perfect example. Our school was filled with so much joy last night! Thank you PTA! Speaking of joy, welcoming you all into the building in the morning and in the afternoon is one of our favorite responsibilities. We love to see your children and have a touch point with you. Even more than that, we are grateful for the opportunity that each of you have to connect with other families. We see people exchanging numbers for play dates, deciding to go get coffee and we hear tidbits of conversations between grown-ups and kids, all in multiple languages. Preschool and kindergarten are our kids’ first opportunity to develop relationships and they are a perfect time for us, as adults, to build those bonds as well. We are so glad you are all here! Because we are greeting you at the doors, we are not supporting the right turn upon your exit from the lot at the corner. Please remember to turn right when leaving our parking lot to expedite departure and most importantly for safety! During this month of friendship and love, we are grateful for all of you, and yours! Happy Valentine’s Day. In partnership, Principal Shelley and Assistant Principal Aimee |
