Dear SKCEE Families,
Thank you for an amazing first week of school! It’s great to see the building alive with smiles and learning again. Thank you all for your flexibility, patience, and punctuality with the new arrival and dismissal process. In this email, you will find information about the following.
I am very excited to offer parent office hours each Tuesday and Thursday starting September 15th. There are 30 minute time slots available from 3 to 5 p.m. Please choose your time. I’m looking forward to talking with you!

A HUGE thank you to our PTA for taking on and completely organizing a virtual tour so we can show off our school. We understand this is such a weird time, without parents being allowed to come in. So if you miss the halls- or want to visit for the first time – check it out! Thank you Megan Epps.
We are celebrating the start of the school year with a special KONA Ice “Park & Serve” event on Saturday, September 12. The KONA Ice truck will be visiting two locations, and families are encouraged to pre-order their treats in advance to maintain social distancing.
The truck will be parked in these two locations:
Pre-order your KONA Ice. Walk-up orders are also allowed. 20% of sales go back to SKCEE. We hope to see you there!
We encourage you to join the PTA and attend our first meeting of the year on Wednesday, September 16 at 5:30 p.m. Families must join the PTA to vote at meetings. The meeting on the 16th will be happening virtually, and families can join online. Questions? Email us.
We are excited to host this year’s first “dine/take out” fundraiser at Chipotle (820 S. Monaco Pkwy, Denver) on September 29 from 4 to 8 p.m. Order dinner for dine-in or take-out and be sure to tell them you are with Stephen Knight Center for Early Education. Chipotle will donate a portion of the proceeds from our orders back to SKCEE!
