Weekly Newsletter 2/26/21

Posted March 1, 2021

Dear SKCEE Families,

This was an exciting week!  Our kindergarten classes celebrated the one hundredth day in school.  There were math activities, fun costumes, and incredibly creative projects to demonstrate our learning so far.  We hope you enjoy our pictures and videos attached below.

I would like to give a big “shout out” to everyone who participated in the American Heart Association Challenge.  Thank you Mrs. Whatmore for organizing this event and finding a fun way to bring us together as a community.  The student that raised the most money was able to pie me in the face!  We hope you enjoy our pictures and video and pictures of this event attached  below as well.

Picture Day & “We Love SKCEE Week” Update

Due to scheduling conflicts picture day will be moved to April 7th, 2021 and April 8th 2021.  Hopefully, this will provide families with more time to prepare and plan for the event.  In addition, the “We Love SKCEE Week” has been rescheduled to the week of March 8th, 2021.  We look forward to seeing students show their school spirit, and the events planned by our PTA.  More information about “We Love SKCEE Week” can be found below.

Please refer to your students weekly classroom communication about important upcoming events.  Please feel free to sign up for office hours with me if you have any questions or need further support.  Have an amazing weekend!

Sincerely,

Matthew Johnson M.Ed.

Principal of Stephen Knight Center for Early Childhood Education
