Dear SKCEE Families,
Happy Friday! Faculty and staff had a wonderful time celebrating St. Patrick’s day this week! Please enjoy the photos of student engagement below.
This week we received a lot of snow, and there is more to come this Sunday, March 21,2021. Please be sure to check the Denver Public Schools Website for updates on school closures or late starts. If the school remains open, please remember to dress students with proper gear. (e.g. waterproof boots, hats, gloves etc.) If you need any support obtaining winter clothing, please feel free to reach out to our family liaison, Hanna Ward.
School Choice Enrollment
All parents will receive a notification from School Choice and Enrollment identifying student placement. Please be on the lookout for this email in the upcoming weeks. Students accepted into SKCEE for the 2021-2022 academic year will also receive a welcome letter from the principal with important updates and an overview of what to expect at the beginning of the school year.
2021-2022 School Year Calendar
The calendar for the 2021-2022 Academic School year is currently posted on the Denver Public Schools Website. Please follow the link here. While we plan to adhere as closely as possible to this calendar, please note that there may be some changes due to teacher training or special accommodations.
I would like to extend a friendly reminder that there will be no school Friday, March 26, 2021 through April 5, 2021. We are excited to welcome students back April 6, 2021.

Survey Reminder
Stephen Knight and Denver Public Schools are planning for the upcoming 2021 – 2022 academic school year. The feedback we receive from the survey below informs upcoming district-level decisions for student learning, social-emotional supports, and overall district priorities.
