Hello SKCEE Families,

We had a wonderful week tie-dyeing t-shirts with Ms. Cookie. A big thanks to all the volunteers who helped out! Our Dine-Out at Tia’s Taqueria this month was also very successful so thank you to everyone who showed up and supported SKCEE! As we head into October, we’ve got our biggest fundraiser of the year – the Scamper! See below for Scamper details and what else is happening at SKCEE:

SKCEE SCAMPER – OCT 26-30

What is the SKCEE Scamper?

The SKCEE Scamper is our annual fundraiser. This year we hope to raise $35,000 to fund a paraprofessional for students, give our teachers extra classroom resources, and keep SKCEE the magical place our kids love to learn and grow. The Scamper has two main events:

The Fun Run (“Scamper”)| Thursday October 29th: Our kids will run around the SKCEE outdoor field while friends and family cheer them on. They collect pledges for their run, making it a fun and active way to support our school. *Halloween costumes are allowed!*
The Online Silent Auction| Monday, October 26th at 9am- Friday, October 30th at 7pm: Packed with amazing getaways, gift cards, sports tickets, experiences, and unique treasures. The auction is your chance to score something special while giving back.

How YOU can support the 2026 SKCEE Scamper:

Become a Financial Sponsor Sponsorships range from 250–5,000 and give your business visibility to over 300 SKCEE families. For more information click HERE.

Sponsor Your Runner(s) Register your child on the Scamper website HERE. Once registered, you’ll get a personal fundraising link you can share with friends and family. Individual runners with the highest funds raised will win a Family 4 Pass to Sweet Play. The classroom with the highest funds raised will win a pizza popsicle party!
Donate to the Silent Auction Help us make the auction amazing by donating things such as gift cards, experiences, getaways, and items or services from your business.

Plus—each classroom is creating a themed Class Basket that will be included in the Silent Auction. Families can donate items or money toward their class basket. Reach out to your room parents for details or if you have any questions!

IMAGINE MATH FAMILY NIGHT – TUES, OCT 6 | 3:30PM-5PM

Join us for a fun, hands-on evening and learn simple ways to support your kindergartener or future kindergartener with math at home. Parents/caregivers and students attend together, and childcare will be available for siblings who are not SKCEE students. Please RSVP here so we can make sure we have enough families to bring this special program to SKCEE!

OCTOBER PTA MEETING – THURS, OCT 8 | 5PM-6PM | ROOM 101

Join us for our next PTA meeting in Room 101. We will be discussing our biggest event of the year — the Scamper! Childcare will be provided.
